Resin Art Australia

About this piece

Bring the beauty of Western Australia’s iconic coastline into your home with our stunning Large Whale Tail Resin and Wood Serving Board. Handcrafted to impress, this unique 60x25cm serving piece features a distinctive whale tail shape, symbolising freedom, strength, and ocean serenity.

Designed with two layers of high-quality, food-safe resin, each board is a one-of-a-kind artwork – inspired by the pristine turquoise waters and clean white sands of WA’s most beloved beaches. The flowing resin detail evokes the gentle movement of waves, creating a captivating contrast against the warm natural grain of sustainable wood.

Perfect as a coastal-themed grazing board, charcuterie display, or stylish centrepiece, this large resin serving board is ideal for entertaining or gifting. Whether you're hosting by the sea or simply dreaming of salty air, this piece brings that relaxed luxury into any setting.

Crafted for coastal lovers, entertainers, and design-conscious homes.

Caitey Mac - Boards by Mac Resin Artist Coastal Beachy Australia

Meet the artist

Hi, I’m Caitey – the artist behind Boards by Mac! Based in Perth, Western Australia, I create ocean-inspired resin art, upcycled surfboards, and sustainable homewares that reflect my love for the sea, nature, and conscious living.

What started as a creative outlet during maternity leave quickly turned into a passion. I began experimenting with resin and fell in love with its flow – so much like the ocean itself. Today, I handcraft one-of-a-kind pieces from my home studio, using eco-conscious materials to give old surfboards new life.

Born and raised along WA’s coastline, the beach is my biggest muse. My work is stocked in collectives across Western Australia, and you’ll often find me at local markets, sharing my love for sustainable, beachy art.
